Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town. Your Embrace tour begins with a full itinerary brief with your Tour Expert Guide. Get to know what your adventure will entail, your options of highlights and must see and do in Cape Town.

Cape Town has many amazing highlights to see and do. We recommend you arrive a few days before your tour starts to take advantage of all the excitement and fun Cape Town offers.

Highlights of Cape Town:

Cape Point Peninsula (Cape of Good Hope): Full and half day tours. 

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden: Acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world.

Cape Town VA Waterfront: A great opportunity to try delicious food from the local restraunts &café. Great shopping and opportunity to spend the day out on the water, watching seals and dolphins during a marina boat tours.

Whale Watching: During the times of June to November. Experience these majestic whales. 

Table Mountain: Take the cable car to experience the amazing views

BoKappo Town. See the vibrant colours of BoKappo Town.

City Centre: Visit the oldest building & gardens, Cultural Historical Museum.

Robben Island: Is well known for being the place of Nelson Mandela imprisonment for 27 years. *** Please note: There is a huge demand to visit Robben Island and require booking as soon as you decide to visit South Africa. Day 2: Cape Town, Oudtshoom. Driving down Route 62. Stop for a great meal at the Route 62 Restaurant. This Restaurant will take you back in time. Enjoy the wine tasting experience. Learn about different wines and pairing.

Day 3: Oudtshoom/ Stormriver. Visit the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm. Or if you are feeling the need to have an adrenaline experience, bungee jump off the Bloukrans Bridge. 

Day 4: Tsitsikamma National Park. Take the chance to zipline through the National Park, hiking around the trials.

Day 5: Addo Elephant National Park. Where the start of your wildlife experience begins. You will experience through Addo Elephant National Park. Sit out at the look at to watch the wildlife wonder around the watering hole. Enjoy a meal with an overlook at the elephants playing in the water hole.

Day 6: Graaff-Reinet. Experience the beautiful views of the Valley of Desolation. Plenty opportunities to take a sight seeing of the town, swim in the hotel pool and have a big feast.

Day 7: Malealea Lesotho. A big travel day but worth every minute. Once you arrive at the Resort, we will learn about all the great opportunities. Something for everyone. Walking tours through the village, pony trekking, bicycle tours.

Day 8: Malealea. Your action-packed day awaits you. This is a great chance to meet and learn from the locals. You will visit a school and see the vast difference of education, housing, general stores. If you want to spend the day doing a physical exercise, there are plenty of options. Pony Trekking, Mountain bike riding, Hiking adventures.

Day 9:  Drakensville. Headed back into South Africa. Capture the beautiful scenery of mountains. Take advantage of the pool, entertainment and great food choices at the camp resort. Tent camping is always a fun experience. However, there is a chance for you book an upgrade to a villa.

Day 10: Drakensville. Spend the day on a full day hike. Learn about the nature and the culture. Bird watchers dream. Get your camera ready.

Day 11: Saint Lucia. Travel to another beautiful part of South Africa. Keep your eyes peeled, Saint Lucia has hippo roaming freely. You may even see one or two in the city centre.

Day 12: Saint Lucia. A full day to experience. The opportunities are endless. Hluluwe- Imfolozi park safari, shopping, great cafes or the option to swim at the beach.

Day 13: Swaziland: Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary. A great experience sleeping in a beehive hut. Everyone always gets excited to experience the beehive hut accommodation. Take a walk around the sanctuary. Watch out for the crocodiles. Enjoy a culture dance experience after dinner.

Day 14:  Hazyview, South Africa. The excitement of National Kruger Park. We drive through the famous Park. Watch out for the big 5.

Day 15: Kruger National Park, South Africa (Approximately 350 kilometres long & 60 kilometres wide). Your full day safari adventure begins early. The fresh crisp early mornings give you the best opportunities to capture the wide variety of wildlife. A chance to grab a great coffee before you set off on your 4 x 4 open safari tour. Your local guide will inform and entertain you on all that Kruger National Park has to offer.

You will experience endless amount of wildlife activity. Keep your cameras ready because your never know what you will capture. Kruger Park has approximately 147 mammal species, over 49 fish species, 34 amphibian species, 227 butterfly species and 336 tree species.

Day 16: Johannesburg, South Africa. Head back to Johannesburg. There is plenty to see on the way back. Get a look at through Gods Window.

Day 17: Johannesburg, South Africa. Your tour ends today but your adventure can continue.

Yes, you can. Let us know when, where and how long you would like to travel, and we will create your ideal itinerary. Contact our friendly team and we will make it happen. 

Can I book a tour just for my family?

Yes, you can. We welcome family style travel and would be honoured to make your family vacation and memories of Africa come true. 

I have older parents that would like to travel, and a group tour is not for them? What do you offer for them?

We always ask our clients what is important and what are their needs. From this information we create the ideal itinerary for them. We will take care of them. 

Can I book two tours?

Yes once you have the dates confirmed and countries you want to visit, we can add another tour.

Do you have a loyalty program for booking multiple tours?

Yes, we love seeing our clients return to see more of Africa. We offer a 5% discount. 

Can I book a large group of friends for a tour?

Yes, you can. Just let us know when, where, how many in the group. Once this is confirmed, you and your friends are ready to enjoy your African Adventures.

I want to travel around Africa for a month, do you offer tours of 30 days or more?

Yes, we are all about creating the perfect vacation for you. We take pride in having a can-do attitude when it comes to showing our clients the magic of Africa. 

Can I do an all camping tour?

Yes, you can. If camping is what is on your bucket list of adventures. We will make it happen. 

I want to travel to Africa, but I would be on my own. Would I be safe?

Yes, we pick you up at the airport. We will be with you along the way during your African Adventure and til the end and drop you off at the airport. We have clients come back and visit more of Africa on solo tours regularly. We welcome and support people from every walk of life to travel the African Adventures. 

What do I need to arrange once I have booked my tour?

We will contact you. You will receive a travel client pack with all details, travel tips and suggestions on visas, vaccines and what to pack. 

I want to book tour but because I won’t know any other of the travellers, can I make sure I have my own hotel room?

Yes absolutely. If you need your own space, we make it happen. You can double your comfort by having your own hotel/ lodging room. We collect all your wish list, must have’s and must do’s on the Embrace African Tour check list. 

I have found the perfect itinerary for me and my family, but can I stretch it out as a longer trip?

Yes, you can. Contact us, book your tour. We send you a check list; you can list all your requirements and wish list. 

My family and I want to travel around Africa, do you offer luxury travel?

Yes we do. We have a premium luxury travel pack offered on all our tours. Our travel pack includes a luxury vehicle, premium hotel and lodges, exclusive private local tours, plus much more. 

If I need to change my tour after I have book, can I re book for a later date?

Yes. You are eligible to change your tour booking up til 40 days departure. We understand there are unexpected things that can happen, and you need to rebook your trip. We understand therefore we allow you to reschedule your trip up to 40 days before your tour departure date. If you need to reschedule at the last minute. Contact us immediately. All deposits are transferable to any of our tours for future dates.
